J’adore Diamonds of Dreams, technological innovation driving exception

LVMH Gaïa is pleased to have contributed to the design of Dior's Diamonds of Dreams. This exceptional piece illustrates LVMH Gaïa's mission: fueling innovation through science. Here, LVMH Gaïa's technological expertise has enabled the development of a lab-grown diamond placed in suspension within the glass of the pearl, with an exceptional size of 2.2 carats and offering no less than 231 facets.

To create the illusion of a floating gem, molten glass is molded around the diamond. The choice of a lab-grown diamond, which lends itself to technical innovation and “extreme” dimensions, allowed the realization of a “briolette” cut – a highly intricate shape mastered by only a few.

The top of the bottle is transformed into a precious adornment, embellished with over 100 lab-grown diamonds set in vertical lines. Altogether, this magnificent piece embraces 5 carats of lab-grown diamonds. The result of months of precision, artistry, and daring innovation.
